Personality While an animal, he is highly intelligent. He studies Dirk's and Aeira's personality as close as possible and has started to understand a little bit of their language. He follows his instincts very closely and doesn't rely on thinking. When his instincts fail he grows in confusion and seeks Dirk to give him commands.

~~Character History~~

Chapter 1 ~ Territory Control
The two large animals start walking in a circle in the grassy plains, glare at each other. They pace each other waiting for one to make the first move. One is a little older than the other and has a black hide. The intruder has a red hide and continues to pace in a circle. Both animals have grown beyond six feet in length. The red one sneers at the black one's mate and small baby, no longer than two feet, that she tries to protect by a large boulder. The black one roars, shifting its weight to its back legs and standing up on them, balancing on them and resting its arms at its side as a human. It arches its back and lets out a large battle cry. The red animal does them same, only its roar is deeper. They sprint at each other and at top speed the black animal rams its shoulder into the red ones chest. The red animal flies backwards, flipping to regain its balance. It leaps in the air, extending out its claws and pulling its claw back. The black animal leaps to the side as the red one slashes downwards and slams into the ground. Time pauses as debris and grass fly into the air. The two animals eyes meet. One offers no mercy, the other protecting his family with his life, instinctively. The red animal leaps at the black one and swipes at its chest repeatedly. The black animal blocks its attacks and snaps at the red animal's neck, his acid breath ripping through the hide. The red animal slashes upwards and pries the black animal's jaws away. They return to walking on four legs and repeatedly ram their shoulders into each other, trying to cripple each others bones. The black animal jaws grasp around the red one's neck, holding on mightily. Not letting go he enters a death roll. The great velocity of his weight and with the acid breath eating away at the red animal's hide, cracking sounds can be heard, then nothing as its head flies off. In a finish the black animal grasps the waist of the corpse and throws it forward. The animal snaps in the direction of the corpse and staggers over to its family. The little baby runs up to its father. A male, smaller, but bluer version of its father. He rubs its head against his father's leg in admiration, while the green mother rubs its face on the side of her mate's in gratefulness and love. The young one had just witnessed its very first territorial fight between two Draijuzen and the rubble landscape shows its evidence. The family slowly treads towards the red Draijuzen's corpse and begin the traditional devouring of the defeated opponent's dead body, not letting the food going to waste. The small Draijuzen sinks its teeth into the hide but then squeaks as it is unable to rip off the hide. The black Draijuzen walks over and taps his son's head with the side of his own, telling him to watch. The black Draijuzen takes in a deep breath and lets out a silent exhale. The animal's lung ducts transform the oxygen into acid by mixing it with several types of chemicals within only a half a second. Green colored air eats away at the flesh and after a few moments the black Draijuzen rips a piece of weakened meat off the corpse and drops it in front of the young Draijuzen. The baby looks up at his father, squeaks in excitement, grabs the meat with both hands, lays down on its stomach and chews the flesh into pieces small enough to swallow. After taking a few moments to watch his son he repeats the same procedure for his green mate.

Chapter 2 ~ Learning to Hunt
The young blue Draijuzen is woken by a gentle shoving on its side. It yawns and pokes its head up to look at his father's nose. The father shoves the young Draijuzen to his feet and bids him to follow. The blue Draijuzen yelps with glea and follows his father, the black Draijuzen. The green female wakes a few moments later and follows them. The black Drajuzen leads them to a vast green pasture where the grass exeeds their height when standing on all four legs. Up ahead they can hear the chirping of several animals. The blue Draijuzen climbs a boulder and sits on it, watching his parents. The two Draijuzen approach their prey on opposite sides. A total of three prey can be seen, medium sized animals that stand on three legs, no arms, and have long necks. The acid breath of the two Drajuzen eat through the grass, dissolving it. Simlutaneously the Draijuzen lower their front legs and shift their weight to one shoulder then the other. They wait several minutes, studying out the behavior of their prey. The Draijuzen crouch low to the ground, staying out of spotting distance. The prey lay down and put their long necks on the ground. The Draijuzen look at each other from across the field then leap forward, at a sprint they charge at the three animals. The prey squawk and one is immidiately wonded when the green Draijuzen slams her claw on its head, then breaks its neck. The black Draijuzen roars and charges at the other two, slamming his shoulder into one and slicing the other in half with its teeth. The blue Draijuzen examines his parents closely from the boulder. The father Draijuzen allows the weakend prey to stagger away then, after a few moments, digs his claw in the dirt then nods his head in the direction the prey went. The young blue Draijuzen pokes its head up then sprints in the prey's direction. It follows the trail the prey made in the grass to the point where the pasture's end then a forest started. It looked around, examining its suroundings. It looks at a low broken branch and walks forward. Soon it finds several foot prints in mud and follows those. It hears small chirping sounds and finds broken twigs on the ground. Soon it finds the wounded animal, licking its wound. The blue Draijuzen crouches low to the ground and does what his parents did, shifting his body weight from shoulder to shoulder. He leaps up and charges the animal, but the animal just as quickly jumps up and squawks dodging the young Draijuzen's attack. It runs around and speeds off, not letting the poor Draijuzen even able to track it. The youg Darijuzen panickingly looks in all directions, confused on what to do. Soon his parents come up to him and comfort him, allowing leftovers of their kill to him.

Chapter 3 ~ Finding A Mate
Over the years the young blue Draijuzen kept examing his parents hunt and feed. Soon he adpated their skills to his own. After a few years he learned how to hunt successfully hunt and use his acid breath, being able to kill prey the same size as him. On the sixteenth year of moonlight the three Draijuzen started on a journey. The blue Draijuzen was totally confused on what his parents were doing and they would not tell him. In a few days they entered a desert plains and continued walking through. The blue Draijuzen staid loyal to his parents and followed them through the harsh enviroment for several days. Not trying to be a burden the blue Draijuzen ignores his own complaints and follows the guidance of the two leaders that had much more years of knowledge and always had a reason for doing what they did. The sand storms ceised after a few days and they entered a large peaceful oasis paradise. Numerous Draijuzen ran around, either playing, sleeping, or spending time with their mates. The blue Draijuzen was amazed at this sight, for Draijuzens never gather in groups and only travel alone or with their small family. He separates himself from his parents and jogs through the oasis, examining his suroundings. He walks up to a large pond and bends his neck, taking a drink. He lifts his head and across the pond and there lays a female Draijuzen. She lays on her side, half asleep. Her elegant bright red skin sparkles in the sunlight. She pokes her head up and turns in his direction, laying her head down on her arm, and begins to stare at the adolescent blue Draijuzen. He looks into her eyes for a few moments then looks away. He looks back at her, who now has her eyes half closed. He makes his way around the pond and walks up to her slowly. She opens her eyes all the way and watches as the blue Draijuzen makes his way towards her. When he reaches her he leans over her and she nods a greeting. She sits up and stares at the blue Draijuzen, finding amusement in him. He acknowledges his interest in her and she rubs her face against his shoulder in appreciation and acceptance. He lays down beside her and rubs her cheek with the tip of his face.
Chapter 4 ~ Derl Ka'thal
The adolescent blue Draijuzen lifts head head up and looks at the full moon that light's up the sky. He stares at the red female that sleeps peacefully beside him. A roar is heard in the valley. He turns his head in the direction where it came from. Several Draijuzen can be seen gathering, all male. He picks himself up to four legs and crawls over to the gathering. There a golden Draijuzen intructs them about a ritual called Derl Ka'thar, a process where a male goes and kills a mighty prize and offers it to a female. If the female accepts it they accept each other as mates. The blue Draijuzen looks over to the red female Draijuzen that still sleeps, clearly the ritual is to take place without any females knowing the time it takes place, but do know about it. He leans back on his backlegs and stands to two legs. He sprints off further into the oasis forest, where a wide variety of numerous species reside. He jumps over several branches, weeving in and out through the trees. This isn't just another hunt, this is much more. He actually has feelings for another, and that other has the same for him. There's something special about that, he doesn't know why, but he has great affection and apprectiation for the Draijuzen female that took an interest in him. He leaps over a large boulder, now entering rocky terrain. He seen several large predators but none that he finds interest in. If she is going to be his mate he wants something special, something that is actually worth the effort. On this planet the Draijuzen are one of the most fiercest predators. He wants something even more so. He leans over and begins to run on all four legs to keep a balance over the terrain. He soon comes to a large cave entrance. He stands up on his backlegs and stares at the darkness. After a few moments he slowly walks in. Just as he did the entrance goes into a surprising drop. He jumps from ledge to ledge as he makes his way downwards then when he reaches the bottom he stands to two legs, observing his surroundings. A trickle of light pours down from a crack in the ceiling. All of a sudden a deep loud roar echoes off the walls, followed by loud thumping sounds that shake the ground. He crouches and watches as a giant animal walks into the room from the shadows. This animal is over five times the size of the blue Draijuzen, it's nothing he has ever seen before. The large brown skinned looking animal eyes him then tilts its head slightly then roars. He arches his back and roars back equally, accepting the challenge. He jumps off the boulder he landed on as the animal slams its fist downwards. In retalion he jumps onto the animal's fist and grasps his jaws around it, the acid breath eats through the flesh of the extremely large animal. It roars and throws him into the air. He flips in the air and lands on the side wall, jumping off it and transfers his body weight to his right claw, slicing through the brown animal's hand. It roars loudly as its tattered hand draws blood and drips to the ground. The blue Draijuzen leaps from place to place on all legs to dodge the other animal's fluries of fist slams and swipes. In desperation he leaps at the animal's neck and rips into its throat with its teeth. Before it could even let go he feels a lare mountain slam into him. He lets go and drops to the grown. Now fatigued, he can barely breathe. He slowly feels something grab his legs. The brown animal lifts him in the air and slams his back against the cave's wall. He growls in pain then the brown animal repeats the process several times until throwing him into the air. The blue Draijuzen lands onto the dirt ground and coughs hard. He picks himself up half-way. The brown animal lets out a ferocious raor and charges at him. In just a few moments the brown animal will crush him. If he dies he'll never be with the one that actually means something to him. He'll never be with the one that acknowledged him. If he dies he'll never be able to show her that he feels the same way. He doesn't know the name of this emotion nor ever will. He can't die. He won't die. He will not allow it. In a burst of energy and desperation he leaps up in the air and spins around the animal's hand. He lands on the hand and runs up the animal's arm on two legs. He leaps across the animal's face and again transfering his bodyweight to his right claw he slices at the animal's throat. His claws rip through the flesh that was already weakened by his acidic breath. The animal roars very loudly, enough to make the blue Draijuzen flinch. As the same time he lands on the ground using four legs to support himself the animal also falls on its stomach, clearly dead as a blood pours out of its tattered throat. He staggers, trying to stay conscious through his fatigued body. He moves toward the corpse and looks at the head. Using his claws he carves through the flesh and separates the head from the body. He takes the head with his mouth and jumps from ledge to ledge, heading up to the exit.
Chapter 5 ~ Accepted? Or Denied His Love?
He slowly makes his way into the oasis once again, his body finally getting rid of fatigue. Other males are already offering their prizes to their females. Whether what the ending result was he did not care. He only cared about her. several Draijuzen eye the large animal head he drags along as he walks. He finds the red Draijuzen laying on her side by the pond he first met her by. She watches him come closer, very interested in the prize offering. He lays the giant head in front of her and she stands up, walking up to the head and examines it. After a few minutes another male, yellow, Draijuzen walks up to her and lays his prize down, a fairly large feline predator, about the size of the head. He glares at him as the female walks up to the corpse and examines it. She looks at them both then at their prizes, she sits down in the center, unable to decide. The two male Draijuzen stare at each other then stand in a fighting stance, clearly since she cannot decide, they will have to. They sprint at each other and simultaneously their shoulders ram into each other, trying to cripple their bones. They stand to two legs and leap at each other, their claws deflecting each others in the air. The blue Draijuzen leaps to the side to dodge a swipe then counters by tackling. They roll once then the yellow Draijuzen jumps up, kicking the blue Draijuzen in the chest. The blue Draijuzen quickly stands and swipes his claw, hard, against his opponent's face. The yellow Draijuzen staggers backwards, dazed. Taking the offensive advantage, the blue Draijuzen unleashes a repeated amount of flury swipes. Repeatedly swiping at his opponent's chest in fury. He ends the offensive by uppercutting but the yellow Draijuzen blocks it and counters by stabbing his claw into the blue Draijuzen. Simultaneously they fall to all four legs and fight each other in that stance. The blue Draijuzen leaps in the air and grasps the yellow Draijuzen's neck and holds it. The yellow Draijuzen struggles violently, throwing its body weight around as it feels the acid eat away at his flesh. As soon as the blue Draijuzen feels the taste of blood on his tongue he enters a death roll, separating the yellow Draijuzen's head from his neck and the head flies off. The blue Draijuzen lets the corpse drop from his mouth and he spews out blood for a few moments. He then takes the yellow Draijuzen's corpse in his mouth and throws it at the feet of the red female Draijuzen, offering a second prize offering. Very pleased and amazed with the blue Draijuzen, she walks up to him and rubs her shoulder against his, accepting his affection. The blue Draijuzen leans into her and savors the moment. Finally after such a long night he can have the one that is meant for him. He fought a giant predator and killed a bigger Draijuzen but he finally gained her approval.
Chapter 6 ~ Separation
The blue Draijuzen leaps across the grassy fields, his red mate and young purple skinned female child follows close behind. They are teaching their child on how to hunt. The blue Draijuzen has reached over six feet in length since the mating ritual as well as growing stronger and perfecting his hunting skills, together with his mate. They come to a stop as the blue Draijuzen spots a group of simple feline-like prey. He gestures his child to begin her hunting practice. She squeaks lightly in excitement, crouches, and slowly makes her way through the tall grass. The blue Draijuzen watches as his red mate lays beside him. After a few moments he lays down also, still watching his child. His instincts all of a sudden trigger danger. He pokes his head up and the red Draijuzen gestures the same danger. Two deep, loud roars echoe through the valley. Soon two brown animals, similar to the one he fought years before, walk over the horizon and charge at the young purple Draijuzen. The two adult Draijuzen charge, running past their child and into a fight with the extremely large beasts. The father Draijuzen stands to two legs and jumps in the air repeatedly, using jabbing attacks to supress his oppenet. He then uses the range of his breath to engulf the brown animal's hand. He then slashes downwards at the animal's chest then crouches to dodge a head swipe. He then jumps upwards and upper slashes, leaving a large gash in the creature's flesh. He then leaps from side to side, doding the attacks, trying to where down his opponent. Finally, to no prevail he is slapped to the side and lands on the ground. For a few moments he cannot move due to exhaustion and is forced to watch the two large beasts close in on his family. The mother Draijuzen uses her acid breath to keep the animal's at bay. Soon her lungs run out of air and one of the beasts slam their fist upon her back, pinning her to the ground. He picks himself up slowly and prepares to charge. But right before he could take a step the ground below caves in and he falls. In desperation and fear for his loved ones he lets out a roar, falling into a seemingly endless abyss. Light slowly fades away more and more, until...darkness. Complete darkness consumes his surroundings. He can still feel himself falling. Then, not even that.
Chapter 7 ~ Master
The blue Draijuzen pokes his head up and looks around, feeling very lightheaded, and even worse, his instincts are barely responisive. There is little light in the seemingly like cave. He sweeps the area with his eyes. To his left there lays a bridge coming down to his level, a large lizard-like animal growling at it. To his right was a narrow hallway. Unsure on what to do he lays on his side, depressed, lost, and saddend about his now more than likely nonexistant family. He lays his head down and drifts to sleep, wishing his life would end. After sometime he wakens and pokes his head up. The lizard that was guarding the strip of land that functioned as a bridge and three creatures takes its place. These creatures are nothing that he has ever seen before, they stand on two legs, communicate by standing, and their bodies are very odd shaped. One actually shows more than one color, the others are light blue and transparent. He lays his head down and pretends to sleep, watching the creatures through less than half opened eyes. They head down the narrow hallway to his left and he can see they stop. The odd thing is that he cannot sense them instinctively and this greatly disturbs him. He stares at them and can hear a low sound coming from them. From this he concludes that they communicate differently than body language and instead by sounds. He has seen several species that does this same procedure. After several moments another lizard-like animal, fairly smaller than him, makes its way to the narrow hallway. After several more moments another lizard, larger than himself, follows suit. Following his instintcs he picks himself up after the animal goes down the hallway, sensing some type of danger for the creatures. He leans backwards and puts his weight on his backlegs then stands on them, balancing and rests his arms at his sides, actually very similar to how the three mysterious creatures walk. The blue Draijuzen sprints into the hallway and coming up on the largest lizard he throws his weight into him, tackling the lizard to the ground and making the small lizard jump to the side. The three small creatures still converse and let the Draijuzen interfere. The two lizards vanish right before the Draijuzen's eyes. He looks around, sweeping the hallway, confused. He then turns to the small creatures and watches them, they stand at a lava pit, clearly trying to find a safe way across. He watches as somehow a slab of the wall falls to the lava pit and the creature that seems more solid jums onto it while the others disappear. The Draijuzen walks up to the beginning of the lava pool and watches the creature slowly drifts across. He instinctively jumps into the lava and swims through, following close behind this creature, very curious on what he will do. The Draijuzen doesn't know how or why but there is something about his instincts that favors this creature and sense that it can somehow help him either survive or get out of this place that voids most of his instincts. He watches through the red liquid as the slab the creature floats on starts to desintegrate. The Draijuzen quickly heads to the surface underneath the slab and right before he reaches the surface the creature jumps across the large gap that separates itself from the pool and land. The blue Draijuzen makes his way to the creature, swimming through the intense heat. He grabs onto the ledge and pulls himself up. The other two transperant figures now returned. They stand in front of a small doorway to the right, the solid looking creature stares through it, clearly furious and ravaged at what he sees inside. They turn around and continue down the hallway. The blue Draijuzen follows and looks into the room. A transperant creature similar to them hangs on a wall, screaming in pain, with small rat-like creatures eating away at her flesh. And then...nothing. The entire room turns black then the room disappears. The Draijuzen watches as the doorway slowly turns into stone wall. Startled at this appearence he continues in the direction of where the creatures went. The solid looking creature of the three jumps down several ledges, into rain. The Draijuzen follows the best he can. It's very dark and the rain only makes visibility worse. They walk on a small strip of land that functions as a bridge over a large casm. The three creatures acknowldege the blue Draijuzen, nonthreateningly. Together they enter a cave and step down several ledges. The solid-looking creature is met by another mysterious figure, clothed in white garments. Again the Draijuzen cannot sense him instinctively. They communicate for some time then for some reason they engage in a duel. He instinctively feels the need to intervene but then he feels something, something like an invisible hand, grasp around his mind and thoughts supressing whatever instincts he can muster. In defeat he lays down and is forced to watch. He can sense the desperation and depression resonating from the solid-creature. The creature falls to the ground, clearly in defeat, then communicates in his own tongue with the others. After some time he continues on and the Draijuzen follows. Several times he can feel the creatures acknowledging his presence. Whether he is wanted or not he cannot tell by just looking at their body language so he follows in suit. Throughout the time they walk the solid-creature somehow endures through straining, emotional pain. While the Draijuzen can only watch him suffer. Somehow feeling that this creature actually can do more than help him, he feels that this creature can give him a path in life. Whenever he can he rubs his chin against the creature's shoulder, trying to offer comfort and understanding. This creature experienced the same loss he did, this creature is actually meant for him, to help him succomb his failure and loss in protecting his mate and child. They go to a large door and slowly opens. The two transperant figures and the solid one enter the large room that lies beyond. The doors starts to close. The vlue Draijuzen stares at the creature, wanting acknowledgement to follow. They only look into each others' eyes for a few moments. Right before the door shuts the Draijuzen makes his choice and jumps through. The creatures again talk, more emotional pain coming from the solid one. They disappear and he lays down. Trying to offer comfort again he pushes the creature's side trying to offer some kind of support. In no response he just lays beside the creature, soon feeling a warm touch on his face, the creature accepting him.
Chapter 8 ~ A New Friend
Both of them wake at the same time. The Draijuzen accepts this creature as his mentor and leader. He can clearly see that the creature had went through much physucal strain somehow. They pick themselves up off the ground and they travel together. The creature leading the Draijuzen and the Draijuzen offering protection. After some hours of travel they come to a large building. Darkness overshadows the mountainous structure and a single bridge made up of an ancient animal's bones separates them from a large ocean of land filled with savage snapping predators, and poisonous plants that release a strong mist of toxin underneath. The sky above it also shows the possible darkness that lies inside or a mighty power that could kill them both when it pleases. Together they walk across the bridge and past a gate. Several guards, that look like the Draijuzen's master, look at them but let them pass. The Draijuzen looks around and examines the intimidating black structure that could hide many secrets or destroy many. They are lead pass a court yard and up several steps, into a room filled with red carpeting. A female sits at the opposite side of the room. The creature walks up to her and the Draijuzen follows, balancing on his back legs, similar to those around him. He studies the sounds of what they say to each other, examining their responses and replies, beginning to understand them to a certain extent. After some time the female leads them out of the room, down a stairwell, past a briefing-like room and turns sharply to the right, into a room with a very large bed in the middle. From what he is able to gather from studying them their race is called human and the creature he gave his allegence to is called Dirk. His female friend is named Aeira or on the oder of that. Dirk takes off his exoskeleton and crawls into the bed. Aeira watches Dirk for a few moments. In curiousity Draijuzen stands to all four legs and taps Aeira's shoulder. She turns to him and in their language she says something very stern to him. He could not understand any of it directly but he could understand that it meant something about the guards in the room, their power and killing him. Frightened by this, the Draijuzen crawls onto the foot of the bed and lays on his side, feeling alone and vulnerable. It felt more than forever before Dirk wakens. When he does Aeira is summoned and she soon enters the room. They communicate more, and again, Draijuzen studies them closely. He can tell they are talking about relief and assurance. The Draijuzen stands on four legs and tries to offer Dirk his comfort by nudging on his shoulder with the tip of his face. Dirk scratches the Draijuzen's large head in acknowledgement. Aeira and Dirk talk together for a few more moments, and during that time the Draijuzen can sense an growing emotion of affection between the two. Soon they tilt their heads and their lips meet. The Draijuzen evaluates this and comes out with the conclusion this is a show of affection, happiness. Draijuzen stands to his two legs and deviously leans on the two, throwing them more than a little off balance, forcing them to push against his weight he puts on them. He hears them laugh and then talk to each other more while scratching his side in humor. After some moments they crawl into the large bed, on opposite sides. The Draijuzen lays inbetween them, still trying to be humorous. They laugh a little then slowly drift to sleep. Throughout the night Draijuzen sleeps peacefully, no longer terrified of Aeira, in fact, he is respectful of her. Draijuzen slowly awakens, Aeira and Dirk already awake and talking to each other. They are curious about something but he cannot say exactly what. Aeira turns to him and looks into his eyes. He can feel something entering in his mind almost like a presence. The all of a sudden; ''Draijuzen, what is your name?'' He pokes his head up and stares into their eyes for several long moments. ''A....Ava-....Avvvaaaké...Avaké '' Dirk and Aeira look at each other in surprise, an animal that can communicate through the force?!

I'd understand better if it was from one extreme to the other... but Water isn't the opposite of magma. We're talking about the melting point of rock. How someone can even see through it is beyond me. When rock is a liquid, not only is it red hot from the heat, but it doesn't turn clear. Yes, when it dries up, it can be glass, but that's only when it's purified with extra chemicals. And don't get me started on how hot it is.

No, I said it was similar I didn't say it was exact. It was a comparison. The specie's eyes are able to see through the magma as well as a human can see in water using goggles. Now clearly, if they tried to even look through water they would be blind, and would have to rely on animal instincts

Then care to explain how the species eyes work. Obviously, he can't see infared, ultraviolet, X-ray, Gamma, visible, or any other type of light from the light spectrum, because he would get the same results with each and every one: Can't see through the magma. Any sort of radiation intake wouldn't work for seeing through molten rock.
